Care

To maintain shine for your silver, bronze and vermeil  jewelry use a polishing cloth regularly to restore its lustre. If you like a more rustic look, no extra care is needed.

Make sure to remove your jewelry before swimming or showering and store in safe, clean and dry location. Try to avoid getting in contact with perfume, salty air, skin creams, hairspray and chlorine.

Tumbaga is an alloy of copper and gold. Because of the copper content sometimes Tumbaga jewelry can cause the skin it touches to turn a greenish hue, due to the reaction beween the copper and the skin. Only some people get this reaction. This is not harmful and does not mean the jewelry is poorly made.
Wash your pieces in warm soapy water with a soft toothbrush and dry.
Then use a polishing cloth around all surfaces making sure to get into finer details.
Polishing cloths are a clean & quick tool for last minute jewelry cleaning.

Bronze is an alloy of copper. Same care as Tumbga, see above.

Sterling Silver is a great option if you have more sensitive skin and want a higher quality.

Vermeil is a higher quality of gold plating with gold over sterling silver.

Chains and Findings

All our chains are sterling silver or 14K gold filled. Unless the piece is made of tumbaga then the chains are made of tumbaga.
